Unhappy Need Some Support

Hey Guys

Need some of those CUSHION(S) about (4) four total.
They sits on the saddlebag rails ~ (2) two on each side to support my saddlebags ~ 1985 Electra Glide Classic.

HARLEY WANTS: $20 Bucks for (1) one and I need (4) four ~ which will cost me: $80.00 SKINS plus Tax-ola

NOT !

Any suggestions guys on how I can find something cheaper. I wonder if HomeDepot have those Soft foam PIPE COVERINGS might do the job. Let me know guys

Do any you guys know where I can buy these CHEAPER or what I can use in place of the ones here on: Ebay

These supports lay on top of the saddlebag rails

Thumbs up Just Wanted To Make Sure by You Guys

Hey JayStronghawk

That's what I figured. I did what to check with you guys FIRST

I'll get the right size split it and make ONE LONG PIECE; instead of having (2)two on each rail like I had before ~ see this 70 yr. ol' fart can learn something after all

By the way; NICE BIKE YOU GOT HERE MY GOOD MAN

90764-83 is obsolete now, but only lists for $1.75. Several dealers still show as having in stock to include Red Rock in Las Vegas. Should only cost you $7. Where the hell are they getting $80 from????

Hey Dawg

They're NUTS.
I'm not paying that kind of money -4- a little piece of Styrofoam pipe covering !

Here's what I'm goin' - 2 - do.
Bought a length of STYROFOAM PIPE COVERING for just a couple of $ bucks.
I'll fit it around the 1" lower railing; tape it in place with Electrical Tape ~
And that will - B - that

Unless you or the guys have any other ideas ?

They must be the gold-plated CVO version! Schooner, you're on the right road with that pipe insulation. It may not be as durable as the original stuff, but longer lengths should sort that, to spread the load.
