Hello all, I am still new to this form, and i have been working on an FXR for a while now. I now have reached the gas tank, which i will need to replace.
-I am wondering if any one knows the stock frame size (where the tank tunnel goes in) for the harley.
-I am not sure but i have a feeling that this bike was modified. I have a measurement of 2.5" on the front end (towards the forks) and 2.75" towards the seat. and it is a square frame. which kind of makes it hard to even fit a 2.5" tunnel tank.
-The old tank seems to have been a bit widened at the bottom end to make it fit. is this how it is done?
