yep i stript out my fork tube cap [:@]

is there an easy fix ? can i rethread it

or do i need to just buy new ones?

i put lock tight on it but dont know if it will be safe.

 

If it is the cap that's stripped and not the leg, just pick up some new ones. It's a risk riding it with it stripped because if the cap shoots off, your fork spring will follow and collapse the leg.

 

Yep,do what glide said.Once the cap is stripped,there is no material to rethread.
Make sure that the tube is not stripped also.
