Default Bleeding ABS brakes

Changing bars on my 09 FLHRC. Sounds like its going to be a pain in the A**..... cause of the ABS bleeding of the brakes? Any easy tips on how to do this?

I'll just be right up-front with you and say that I have never bled any ABS Harley brakes, but I wanted you to know somebody was out here listening (LOL).

You can find the bleeding procedure on the web, but it refers to a special tool (digital technician) that only the dealer has. I have also heard that if you only remove the lines down stream of the modulator....you should be okay.

Hopefully....you will get some help from some other guys that have done this. Good Luck!

You bleed the brakes the same as non ABS brakes. The digital technician is used to make sure that there is no air in the ABS chamber after the bleeding is done. If it were me, I would bleed the brakes myself and then just have the dealer check it on the digital technician if you get an ABS light, etc.
