Brake pedal removal
Hi,
I am trying to fit a Kuryaken brake pedal to my RK classic. I can get the clevis pin out (and yes I have removed the split pin!). I have tried all the usual things, pulling it with pliars, pushing from the back, shouting and swearing at it, kicking the wall. Nothing seems to work. It is (now) drowning in WD40. Any ideas? PLEASE?
Pete

RE: Brake pedal removal
Job done. The pin was locked in after being in place for 6 years. I sprayed with WD 40 and then drove a small screwdriverinto the non existent gap between the brake rod linkage and the linking flange on the brake pedal. That seems to have broken the back of it and shortly after it pushed out. Job done.
