Replacing fork oil in a 99 ultra air front suspension
I just drained the old oil from my 99 flh forks and replaced the drain screws. I pulled the banjo fittings from both tubes up top and am trying to put the oil in, my shop manual just says fill with 287 mil of fork oil got some belray 20 and put the tube of the funnel down about an 1/2 inch and the fork wont take the oil its burping it up . any suggestions would be appreciated .

You need to pump your forks to get the fluid down. Bounce your bike up and down.

If I remember right; you drain it out the bottom drain hole and then suck new fluid back up the drain hole using a brake bleed pump on the other end.
