Default alidnment

i'm having trouble with the front wheel aligning with the back wheel, Whats the best way to do this, looking at the front wheel sitting on the bike(2001 ultra classic) don't look right, i seem to have to turn the bars to the left(my buddy says to the right) to look straight, also like on a car the cast and camber, the wheel doesn't seem to sit on the road flat, any help out there?

There are two things that may need adjusting here. One is the alignment of the engine in the frame. The swingarm and wheel are mounted off the back of the transmission and the engine/transmission is rubber mounted in the frame. The other is the wheel alignment in the swingarm. Checking them both is described in the factory workshop manual, which is well worth getting as soon as you can get one!
