Default hand grips

Any help would be great. Want to change my stock grips to something sharper looking, is it difficult?
Thanks for any input.

Dana,

No it is not difficult. You have to have the torx head driver to take the torx screws out of the handlebar control housings. You need to loosen both throttle cables where they adjust (next to your right grip) so you can slip the throttle cables out. Slide on the grips (make sure they are straight) hook up and adjust the cables (right side only) and thighten up the control housings.

This was the first mod I ever did on any bike ever. It was also the first mod I did on my Harley.

You'll get through it...

Here's a link to a post I made about doing mine...for your enjoyment...

Thanks for the input, changed the grips today and it was a piece of cake. Went with the Harley flame model, plan on the rest
of this pattern someday for the floorboards, brake pedal and shiffter pegs.$$$$
My ride is a 04 RK and there is no end insight for the extras, just the budget.

Thanks again
Dana
