I am building a custom and I am at the point where I need to mount my DNA springer front end. I would like to know the do's and dont's of installing a custom springer. I have not been able to find a good reference on installing the front end (torque specs, etc). I would also like to know what the term fallaway means in regards to mounting a front end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fallaway is mentioned in all service manuals for stock bikes. It refers to the distance the front end travels from the center position. It has to do with how tight you have the neck bearing,in relation to the travel distance of fall away of the front wheel. The springers are fairly easy to mount,and will mount very similar to a stock front end. Just need to make sure that you have everything adjusted correctly.
