Default 2002 FLHRSEI Alarm System Trouble shoot

I have a 2002 Screaming Eagle Road King and I am having alarm problems. The alarm system has a mind of its own.. .the siren goes off without warning, for no reason. It goes off even when the security is not set. It is so intermitent. It doesn't act as though there is a short, because sometimes the alarm won't go off for a week or two, and then out of the blue it just goes off, no reason... anybody got any ideas?? I would disable the siren but I don't even know where to find it. I spoke to my local dealer, and they just gave me the ole shoulder shrug. All ideas are welcome.

I recently installed an alarm on my bike and if I remember correctly it stated that it will work even if the battery cables are cut. If that is correct it must have a battery inside to provide for the loss of charge if the cables are cut. I would check with the dealer to see if this is the case. If it is it might be that the battery is going bad maybe something like smoke detectors chirping when the battery needs replaced.
