Default Fatboy Seat

Got a question about taking off a stock fat boy seat. Is the seat and the passenger seat one piece? Other than the screw behind the passenger seat is there anything else you have to unfasten? Can't seem to get the seat off. HELP..

It's one piece. Remove the seat screw and pull the seat back a little. Lift up some while pulling it back.

Phil has it right... mine kinda gets stuck in the front (tang into the slot). One key is to not lift the back up not too high (but high enough so that the bolt tab clears that fender paint) and swing the back end from side to side a couple of inches while pulling back and when you least expect it you will be sitting on the garage floor with your seat in your hands wondering 'What the h@!! just happened'. I know of several old riders that always put a blob of silicone or polyurethane on the front tang to prevent any rattles, which is what causes these removal problems....
