Default Front forks squeak

While pushing my bike into the garage ( no engine running ) I noticed my front forks squeak, more like a bird chirping....they do it when I push them up and down. Whats up?
Thanks

Try it while holding the front brake, might just be the brake pads, mine does that on occasion.

Turned out, it was not the forks or the brake. While trying to figure out what was causing the chirp ( still thinking it's the forks or wheel ) I noticed that when I pushed up and down on the front end, the dual coil mount was moving. One corner of the mount, where it bolts to the engine, had broken off and was rubbing on the engine, causing the squeak. I could have sworn the sound was coming from the front end. Strange how sound transfers.
Thanks for the reply, though.
