Standard Wide Glide forks are 41mm….. Originally Posted by FastHarley: Yes, they are on stock 2006 ~ 2007 wide glide models… I wish that were true. I've got a 2007 and they have the 41mm.
If you have a 2007 Wideglide than you have 49 mm fork tubes unless your bike has been crashed or the OEM front forks have been removed. Ask your competent HD parts person or mechanic. I have installed numerous front end suspension products inside of the 06 & 07 Wideglides. A LINK to a review is HERE.

Bike Reviews 2007 Harley-Davidson FXDWG™ Dyna Wide Glide®

The thicker mini ape hanger handlebars with internal electrical wiring, wide 49mm front forks, stretched gas tank, bullet style turn signals, wider rear fender, and the 160mm rear tire are all improvements introduced between the 2000 and 2007 model years.

This is a 2007 Wideglide file photo.

Well that's interesting. I wonder why HD put the 49mm on the FXWDG and the 41mm on the FXST(B). Could be they were going for a more lean chopper look.

You can easily see the fork size difference between a Softail wide glide and the Dyna mid glide. The Softy looks downright spindly in comparison. I will look for a FXDWG to compare mine too.

I've got a FXSTB.

Thanks!

Edit: 2000 FXWDG and 2007. Check out the difference in fork size.

The easiest ones right off the bat that are all showing the 49mm wide glide trees and spacers for your Dyna conversion are Accutronix, Seeger Cycle, and Custom Cycle Engineering. It looks like depending on the manufacturer you also have a choice of 0-, 3-, and 5 degree trees for a little extra customization. A 5-degree tree will require lowering the rear suspension on your Dyna.

Thanks Big H. I've bookmarked those sites and they have some nice parts.

He has a Night Train with a Wide glide front end which come with 41mm. You're talking about the Dyna models wide glide which have the fatter 49mm forks.
I have also been looking at changing my front forks with everything from a "Fatboy" style FL front fork to the huge 65mm inverted from Ultima and everything in between. This week I'm stuck on the Rocker forks as a upgrade but that's this week

I have 2007 WG trees from ebay and 2008 49mm Street Bob forks from CRSOWA (forum member). Easy. Bolted right up.

(I'm not really answering your question though.)

Looks like some really nice stuff but, WOW, they are also really proud of their parts judging by the prices.

I wonder if a stock 49mm Wide Glide from a dyna will fit on a softail. Guess I should ask the dealer.

Oh yeah very expensive but it's a quality product.
"I wonder if a stock 49mm Wide Glide from a dyna will fit on a softail. Guess I should ask the dealer". That's a great question, I would also like to know about that!
