Default Can Somebody decipher Harley Fork oil codes

OK, I did a search on front fork oil with no luck. I've got a 2000 883XLH and I want to change out the front fork oil. The book calls for type E but I've no idea what weight that is and I'd like to replace it with something slightly heavier. I guess I could drain the old and try to gauge the viscosity but I thought I'd ask here first for suggestions on a good quality replacement fluid.

You can get the SE heavy from HD. I think the type E is a 10wt but not sure.

Thanks dyna, I may pick up a quart of the SE over the weekend. The bike sat a lot before I bought it last spring, I figure a flush with ATF would be a good idea considring the bike is about 10yrs old.

FastHarley, So E is thicker than B and heavy is the thickest but what do those numbers translate to in the world of SAE weights? Also dynarule said SE was a better choice is that what you listed as heavy?

Thanks
