Default Fork Change-over

I want to get rid of the cartridge in the front fork of my 04 RG so that it is easier to service. Anybody know the best way to make this happen. What do I need to buy to convert it over. hoping somebody has already been through this. Thanks

Rottiman,
Did you ever get a response to this? I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my 05 EGC. I'm due to change the fork oil and thought it would make sense since I'll have it apart anyway.
