Will a continental 140 clear on the rear of an fxdl?

what year is it? I have a 95 and I would say not... Unless you go narrower belt or chain, this appears to be first point of contact, and I would think it would not be worth the expense.

im not an expert on fxd's, but i hae a sporty (97) with a 140 tire, i had to space the belt pully out just a little, and i had to cut off the excess threads on the bolts for the fender brace, used blue loctite, put it back together, no rubs, no problems. every thing is real close to the tire, but i can see air, nothing is rubbing, and thats a good thing, besides it looks very cool!

If you space out rear pulley, wouldn't you also want to do the same to the front to keep the belt aligned?
