Default Average cost for brake job

I have been quoted so many different prices for a brake jog. Of course it depends on what type pads are used. What is the average price for both to be replaced where you are ? (discs are good, just need pads)

The pads cost about $30 per wheel. Took me about 30 to 40 minutes per wheel to change mine. So, about $60 for parts ans an hours labor would be my guess. Not really sure how much time the stealer would charge for the job though.

J&P sells pads ranging from under $30 to around $50 I think.

NO..A rotor should be replaced if there is any question of damage, and they can be damaged in a number of ways, small and large..heat> warping>hairline cracks, deep, large grooves from running shoes too long ,down to bare metal...They are also too thin for turning, unlike auto rotors.
