Default Black Lower Fork Sliders

Does anybody know if the Black Lower Fork sliders will fit a 2007 Night Train? The catalogue lists only up to 2006. I did not think that harley modified the front end between 06 and 07. I am thinking this is a miss print in the catalogue.

Taker easy..dave

Don't know if anything changed for 08' except the rear axle size. I had my originals powdercoated gloss black.

Was it a lot of work to get them powder coated? How is the powder coating holding up to the road wearing? Can you give me a ballpark price?

The powder coating is holding up fine, should last for a long time. Cost was about half of what Harley wants for painted lowers.

They will hold up way better then paint. The cost to get them powder coated should be under 100 bucks. Like Shawn said, forks need to be taken completely apart, but if you were looking at painted lowers, they would need that anyway. Its also a good time to upgrade your front springs.

Had mine apart for seals, took the lowers to a local shop. $60 for both, gloss black. They look great. Powder coat is much harder than paint and holds up really well under most conditions.

I would paint them on the bike and get them powder coated when you have to change the seals...JMO

It's not only cheaper to get your forks powder coated but you know for sure they will fit properly and you won't have an extra set laying around collecting dust.
