21" laced wheel

Hello all,
I just picked up a 21" laced wheel the smooth style.
It has 1" bearings, Question is can I swap out with the 3/4" bearings and spacer from my 2001 Softail?
All new bearings of course.

i dont see why not so long as the outside diameter is the same.
