Default Height of Metzeler 120/70-21?

Anyone know the inflated height of a Metzeler 120/70-21? and a stock 130-17 new Dunlop on a Touring bike? I went to the Metzeler.com and see "706" diameter. ??

Thanks

120 mm to from the bead to where the flat ends + whatever the measured height from there to the top. 130 mm on the Dunlop the same way. Not 100% accurate way of figuring but should be fairly close.

I'm looking for the actual overall mounted height in inches for each tire.

That is an overall diameter of 706 MILLIMETERS (those darned Europeans!).

That converts out to about 27.8 inches overall.

Cheers

Thanks, I'll have to figure out what the stock front 09 tire height it. Interesting about the metric height on the Metzeler site, because it appears they use inches in the wheel width column. Thanks

Wink Just to make it even more confusing...

The tire industry in North America uses the metric system for tire widths (not just for motorcycle tires; car and light truck too...any tire that is for highway use). However, they also still use the English units for wheel diameter and rim width. Confusing, eh?

Cheers
