I am a little curious as to what the difference between a front wheel from a Wide Glide, and an Electra Glide. I have a 98 Electra Glide, and can purchase a front wheel 80 spoke dual rotors. The add states it fits Wide Glide with 3/4 bearings. Now they claim that the electra is supposed to have a 16 X 3.5 Wheel, yet the owners manual states the wheel is 16 X 3. Can anyone tell me if this wheel will fit. Recently I had to replace the rear wheel since mine cracked, the shop only had an 80 spoke in stock and since I needed the bike I had that one installed. I would like to match the wheel, but dont really want to spend $350. for another wheel. I can get this one for $150.

Bearings aside. All the Wide Glides I've ever seen have 21 inch wheels. The Electra front is a 16?
What are you trying to do?

 

Replace the front wheel. The wheel that I am looking at is a 16 X 3 with 3/4 axle and dual rotors. It states it fits the wide glide but does not state it fits the FLHT. I dont know if the hubs are the same size or not. The vendor does not know either.
