Default Kury ISO Grips install.

I'm trying to install Kuryakyn ISO Grips(#6205) on an 07 FXDWG and am having trouble with the throttle side binding when I reinstall the swith housing. The throttle open(turns) but doesnt return when it is released. It seems as if the outer edge of the switch housing is rubbing the rubber rim on the inside of the ISO grip where it meets the housing. I was thinking of using a razor knife and removing this ridge of rubber from the grip. Has anyone else had this problem?

Never had that problem but it you have it pushed up too far the end of the handlebar will bind on the inside of the grip. Needs about 1/32 clearance of in and out to be free.
