Default Fork rake

I have searched about adding raked triple trees etc. but my question is if I add 3 degree bearings in the neck AND 5 degree triple trees do they bring the trail back in good standings or does it get that much more out of whack? I have an 06 Streetbob. From what I understand I would be ok with the 3 degree bearings by themselves but I don't think it would be enough to really notice much of a difference. I haven't found a post where both have been talked about but if this has been asked before point me in the right direction. Thanks.
