Default Fork Cartridge Emulators

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Has anyone installed Race Tech Gold fork emulators and springs on their Road King? Will they give a better ride? Mine sort of feels every little expansion joint and is harsh. I've got an '06 FLHRCI with around 21,000 miles on it. Is it time to at least change the fork oil?

I do lots of them. Great bang for your buck. Getting linerar springs for your bike and set for your weight is a good thing. Improved riding characteristics than stock.

I have the emulators in the 99 Road King. I lowered the front by 2 inches at the same time. Really improved the ride. But...if you want the ultimate, give Traxxion a call. I had them do the legs on the Custom Bagger. It was expensive, but what a difference in ride...

We are also GMD Computrac and we also manufacture our own cartridges (HERE). Very expensive ($1,149.99 + actual shipping) but I have ridden them and they will give the stock Harley&nbsp\\; the best the forks can give. They are adjustable in both compression and rebound. I do not recommend installing them yourself.

I installed the Race Tech emulators on my WG and am very happy.&nbsp\\; Also replaced the Progressive springs with a set from Race Tech.

06 and up FLHTs already have emulators and different springs. I'm getting ready to take the guts out of some slightly bent 06 FLHTCU forks and put them in my 05.

Why wouldn't they have the same thing in the FLHR? I've heard that the Road Glide has one fork with a cartridge and the other not, wierd, but maybe true. Anyway, I just need to find a good indy in the Bridgeport, CT area that can do the install on the Race Tech Gold Valve emulators and springs.
