Progressive 416 series vs 440 series which are better???

Progressive 416 series vs 440 series which are better???
I want to get rid of my stock shocks and put on some progressive shocks for the front and rear with a 1 inch lower than the stock shocks. I heard that you will get a better ride with the progressive shocks. Has anybody have any of these two shocks on there bikes, and can you tell me how you like them
