Default New Master cylinder install

I am putting a chrome Master Cylinder on my girlfriend's 2006 883L.&nbsp\\; The original came filled with Dot 5 silicone based brake fluid.&nbsp\\; The new chrome one has a lable on it saying to use only Dot 4 fluid.&nbsp\\; That would require completely flushing out the entire system.&nbsp\\; Is there any reason I could not just use Dot 5 in this new master cylinder?

I do like this forum, but when it comes to tech questions, you can't beat Hawg's site.

they have a bunch of very knowledgable guys that can offer some good advice on tech issues.&nbsp\\; If you have some issues/questions that are not getting answered here, give these guys a try.
