Finally saved enough to spring for some chrome wheels for my '06 Lowrider and am agonizing over sticking with the 19" front wheel or going with a 21" - which means a narrower, lower profile tire. The 21" will clearly look better, but I don't want to make a "form over function" decision and not like the handling. Does anyone have any first-hand experience?

 

You might notice some very slight handling differences at first, but you'll quickly get used to them & they will become the norm for you.

 

I had a 2000 fxdwg with a 21' front tire, that was the crack chassingist son of agoat that i ever saw. After i rode my friends heritageI put a 16' on my fxdwg then it cornered like a glass marble on a smooth glass table so my vote goes to the wider the smother kev

 

I have a 08 custom softail with a 21 in. front. It rides good if you ask me, a wider front tire will ride smother, I have had both. I like the look of a narrower front tire myself, and dont think thay ride that bad. You can get a wider tire than i have on a 21 in. rim. It boils down to prefrence. I would get what you want. I amgetting ready to buy another bike next mounth an it has a 23 in. front on it and the tire is a little wider than my custom.
