Got it done!!
Wasn't easy. Took me a total of about 6 hours to get it done. Would have been easier if I had the right tools to put the seals back in. (The 2" PVC pipe DOESN'T work, at least it doesn't on the FLHX)!!

As far as the PVC you could have cut 2 slots a few inches highon each side and it would then flex in and fit fine...
