Default Putting on 21"/18" on streetglide

Just got the new wheels and can't wait to put them on. Just curious if anyone has done it and if they have any little secrets that they have come across. I know about the hole front fender having enough space between the tire and fender. Just want to hear from anyone if they have any little pointers on doing the 21"/18" swap out. Try to post pictures when its done.

What wheels are you putting on it?
I heard you will probably need to elongate the holes in the back of thefront fender to clear the tire. That's it.

the swap is pretty easy and you shouldnt have too many problems with it. When you take off the front fender, drill out the holes a bit to give you a bit more clearance between your fender and tire. other than that, it's pretty strait forward install. good luck!

Lowering your bikes front end @ 1 inch will keep the stockish stance.Yes most frt fenders need clearancing.Tape a 3/8th nut on center of tire and see if it clears. Some tire brands seem to grow alittle more than others.Your frt calipers might need shimmed also if drag is found after install. The rear should go on with no woes unless running wider rubber -bigger than 150s.Anything wider gets real tight and might have to lose or modify belt guard, again tire type may play into this.If your bike has the IDS then it depends on if wheel itself. Was it setup to use with that new pulley setup?
