Default Bike pulls to the right

I changed out my stock wheels for a set of FLHX wheels on my '01 Ultra. I marked the adjusters on the rear wheel before disassembly and backed both adjusters off the same number of turns. After switching wheels and tires I tightened everything back in the original location. The problem is, when I engage the cruise and let go of the bars, the bike wants to pull to the right. I replaced the rear tire on the stock wheel last year and did the same assembly procedure with no problems, the bike went straight as a string. Any suggestions on what is mis-aligned or what I need to do to get it to track properly ? Thanks for any and all suggestions ! Edbo

You are going to have to make an alignment guage out of a coathanger like it shows you in the service manual. If you don't have a manual, then it's 50 lashes.

Like the rule says, "when you have a problem, first look at the last thing you changed". Your new wheels apparently don't track the same as your old ones. Use the coathanger gauge to make sure that your axle is adjusted properly. You might also check to make sure the arrow on your tire is pointing in the right direction. It's unlikely, but if the tire got mounted on the wheel upside down that could affect your tracking.

Run a long straight edge off the back wheel. It should be parralel to the frame rails under the engine.Measuring this distance and counting adjuster bolt turns is total bs and very inacurate.Double check belt tension even if moving the opposite side adjuster as it has an effect on it. My bike was disgusting from a tracking point brand new and doing this solve it.
