Problem: Air Valve Location - 9 spoke cast aluminum wheels
I have an '08 Screamin Eagle Ultra with standard 9 spoke cast aluminum wheels. My prior Harleys, '03 Road King and '06 Ultra, had lace wheels. The tire air valve is much harder to reach on the SEUC, especially on the rear tire. Using the air pump at the gas station is very awkward. Very difficult to properly position the air hose to avoid air leaking out. I asked the dealer if there was any kind of adapter available that could be used when adding air, but they were not aware of any. Anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.

RE: Problem: Air Valve Location - 9 spoke cast aluminum wheels
I recently switched from laced wheels to the 9 spoke mag, one of the first things I noticed was hold much more difficult it was to add air or even check tire pressure on the mag wheels vs the laced wheels. I could not even use my digital gauge because the rotor was in the way, I had to go back to the old style gauge.
