Default Tire change what tools?

Ok what tools did you get to change your own tires? I've been looking but there are so many from cheap to real expensive, I've got the tire spoons but did you buy a bead buster? Thanks.

Me too. A very large vise(MAC)with different sizes and lengths of wood blocking to protect the rimand position the tire. And make sure to use big, long, heavy duty spoons. I got mine (made in USA) at a farm supply store. Also a multi purpose valve core tool.

Also get a pair of rim protectors ($8 or 9) so you don't scratch up your wheel while you're using the tire irons. C clamps will help in breaking the bead, or you canput one end of a 2x4 under your car and use it as a lever to work the bead.

I run WWW tires. Breaking beads on them is tough in a vise, sometimes. I caught the Harbor Freight tire changers on sale for 29 bucks and bolted it down against the wall in my basement just so I could use the bead breaker. BTW, I use it for more than just bike tires. I recently hand changed one of the tires on one of my trailers. I doubt if you could have broken it's bead in a vise.
