I got an 82 Wide Glide and lowered the back 3" and the front 2" using the Progressive shocks and kits. I am satisfied, looks good. When the ol ladys on the back though I gotta remember to not lean so far in a sharp turn. Puts a cuttin edge on the end of the front exhaust pipe Rear shocks were around 350. and the front lowering kit was around 200. I hated the space between the tire and the rear fender[:'(] Also, I would not lower the back and lv the front, thats when the geometry gets fd up. IMHO

i lowered my back but not the front because i wanted more travel but also because i thought the bike looked shorter on bikes i have seen when both front and back were lowered.when my bike was a heritage i also ran a 19" up front cause it filled the fender enought but it also was a little wider than a 21" but that was before ithey came out with the 21x3's. also if you run whitewalls they don't make aWWW 21" that fits a 21x3 (safely)I have seen the Wide White Walls(WWW)21's on the 3 inch rim but they really strecth the limits of the tire. Avon makes both WWW for 16" 19" and 21" but not an 18". haven't seen picks of your bike so i don't even know if you run a white wall.hope this helps.
