RE: 01 softail rear tire
looks ****, do i have to buy a kit or can it be done right with just a few parts? i see kits to put 200 tire on stock swing arm using chain then i hear others say nope 180 is the biggest. i really like the looks of the 200 but dont want to spend a fortune doing it. i looked at new night tains today and they are not badly priced but as it stands, i am only into my bike for 7000 so long story short, i want to do it right as cheap as poss.

RE: 01 softail rear tire
180 without cutting the frame horns off and a new fender that goes outside of the frame horns. A 200 if you cut the frame horns off and use a strut less fender.
You want to do this for cheap? Use a 180, this will retain your belt, pulley and rotor. You will need a wheel, tire and fender. If your semi handy in the shop you can split your fender and widen it if not you'll need a fender. You will need to make/cut/turn a set of wheel spacers as the wheel has to be center of the frame horns (HD's are not centered).
