Hey, what do you springer guys use out there as a brake line clamp on your springer front end? My front end is already finished so i need something that either clamps on the the down tubes other than using cable ties. Any suggestions?
I used a clip like this but with the rubber coating so it won't chaffe the line. I ran the line down off the bars and attached it where the throttle cable guide is on the side of the trees and then ran it down the back of the fork leg and attached it again where the old line was. If you need a picture, let me know and I,ll get some.
Don't forget to put a good loop in the line going to the caliper so you will have enough slack for the line when the front end arcs up and down.Hope this helps.
Yes like Darkside said. I got that type of clip with the rubber coating. I got mine at local Ace harware store. You need two - one for under the springer fork area & one for right side of fender.
