Default performance machine

Has anyone ran or know anything about performance machine calipers? I asked the other day and most replied with hawg halters, but I can get pm calipers a little better pricing. Any help is appreciated!!

I've built a few custom choppers...even a show bike...even my bagger...

All are/were fitted with PM brakes. Not once have they failed.

I have the 6 piston front with a 13" rotor on my bagger now, single side...that 6 piston is a monster! It'll stand you on your head!

No comment about Hawg Halters...never used them but to my understanding, they're equally as strong.

I recently installed front & rear Performance machine chrome brakes on my 2003 FXSTSI. They went on without a hitch. PM has nice detailed installation instructions on their site. I simply took my time & followed those instructions. I also purchased speed bleeders seperately& they made the bleeding job much easier. PM also had detailed spec sheets which clearly show which size speed bleeders you need.

Overall, the PM brakes look like a piece of metal art work. Fit & finish were flawless. Hasbeen bad weather, so no test drive, but the brakes feel way different than the crappy factory ones.

Best price I could find was from American Classic Motors - check their ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/AMERICAN-CLASSIC-MOTORS

IFixACs,

I have PM and have no problems.

BUT...**Check out Bikernet dot com. They did a brake test and PM's came in last!**

Old saying is true: "You get what you pay for" and PM's are outstanding.
