Default Dual Brake line new bars problem

Got an 02 super glyde sport with dual front brakes. I changed the bars to a shorter length shorter rise style. Now my brake line running up the neck and screwed to the top tree is solid tubing. 3 inches of this solid brake line comes out of the master cylinder and ties into the other solid line with 6 inches of rubber brake line. With the shorter bars the rubber tubing is curled out of perportion. What is my easyist fix for this problem?

Default RE: Dual Brake line new bars problem

Go braided stainless and change the whole shootin' match out with a dual brake line kit for your SG.
A new flexible line will run down from the master cylinder to a splitter under the steering head that mates with two lines that go down to the caliper on each side. It will do away with the whole rigid line get up.
Either that, or maybe you can cut, shorten, and resplice the the line somewhere with a compression coupling.

Maybe try this link to see what's available. http://www.hdbikeparts.com/
