I know one of our sponsers, Eastern Performanance sells them but I can't ask them.
I'm looking for some real world experience on these shocks.
I've also had trouble even finding reviews online for these.
Any insight would be great.

Clearly there is junk out there Jammer, what brand of shocks did you buy?
What I want to determine if the Ultima's are in the junk category or if these have some merit and are worth pursuing.

Excellent info Jammer I'll take that into account. I hoping for aleast another month before the snow and salt start flying up here in MN so I'm just doing my homework before I tear into my bike. I have no issue with spending more on some good shocks if they solve the problem in the long run. I also have this very same question on several other forums and the fact that no one is riding on them on any forum is also telling.

But the fact remains they are being sold, and someone is out there either loving or hating these shocks. I just wanta hear from a few of them.

Here is an excellent article and step-by-step instructions on the Progressive shocks.

http://www.hotbikeweb.com/tech/0612_...cks/index.html

I will probably go this route since they seem to be a clear winner, I know many who are riding on them, and can find nothing like this at all on the Ultima's. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think anybody comes close to the R & D that Progressive has done.

The only real 'performance' shocks available out there for Harley applications are the Penskes that FastHarley offers. You can simply PM him.
There are a number of lesser $$$, lesser performance shocks out there, but I have never heard of the ones you speak of.

Here is a link to the Penskes.

Well, if my Progressive 440s are any example, they need to do a lot more R & D. Mine are junk.
