O7's have metric axles.........beware. I think its .984 axle size... pull your axle and check with a set of calipers. When I bought PM wheels for my 07 Pm told me the axles had changed on the 07"s and new bearing would be needed.

I have not pulled and checked the axle yet but the dealer tells me the Dynas are 1" and the softails for 07 are indeed 25MM as you indicated. This may be the confusion.
note: 1" = about 25.5MM

You are correct if you are talking Softails in 07. In 08 the FL's went to 25mm. Do not know about Dyna's yet. Not had one apart. You have a Softail but not all models changed as of yet.

Thats cool. I dont fully understand this whole metric vs sae, 25mm vs 1" thing anyway.
It makes sense that your going to have metric axles when your using metric forks like the ones being used now by Harley, in the Showa brand and such but, as far as I know, my 49mm forks on my 07 Dyna are showa metric and still use the 1".
I would guess at some point and time, all of them will be 25mm which is just 1/2mm less than 1" anyway.
I would guess that in some less critical applications, 25mm and 1" might be almost interchangebale.
Who knows?? :-)
