Default neck bearings (race installer)

is a race installer realy necisary for the the job. neck bearings new races. or can one get by without the tool

You can make your own, I did. You need to get access to a lathe to make some "pucks" that have an o.d. that is slightly smaller than the o.d. of the races. Use a 1/2 -13 threaded rod & nuts to install the races. If you don't have the abillity to make your tool you do need to buy one.

do i need tool to get them out too.i noticed they had one after i ordered the installer
