HELP..2007 Street Glide front brake issue.
Ok, quick question. Only have about 250 miles on my new street glide and the front brake sounds like its sticking. It just started yesterday. Has that light grinding sound like sand between rotar and pad but its not brake dust or any debree. When I visually inspect the brakes it doesn't look like there is much if any clearance between the pads and the brakes. It just started doing this. Any suggestions or others that have experienced this? Gonna have to call the dealership on Monday but thought I would try this forum first. Always seem to get best information on here. Thanks

If you can push the bike, its not dragging, and if it stops you while riding when you want it to, leave it, everything is okay.
more than likely the heat warped the rotor a little, not really an issue unless you start feeling a pulse. you're prob okay.

My 03 Road King does the same thing. Kind of a scraping sound so to speak. I was told many do this and as long as your brakes werent heating up or you saw any bluing on your rotors that is was fine. I can put a minimal amount of pressure on the front brakes and it stops. Possible it is the newer pads without asbestos? I hear the newer pads are much harder than the old ones. I also hear the new full floating rotors somewhat help with any issues involving warping. Someone please correct me if I am wrong...

Same here. 2002 Road King Classic - had the front brake pads changed this year and when I'm slowing down, I can hear a "pulsing"When I pull the brake level a touch - it stops. Dealer told me the pistons aren't coming back all the way back, and according to them - it's normal.

RE: HELP..2007 Street Glide front brake issue.
This all concerns me. I have an 06 and I've had two sets of front rotors replaced and the rear is now warped and must be replaced. I'm going to a compete set of floating rotors front and back. Seems to me the motor company would address the issue and get rid of the crappy cast rotors. The heat generated from these crappy rotors is causing the brake fluid to jell up, which causes the calipers to begin to stick. What a S---T design.
