Default Vaccum bleeding ABS brakes

Anybody here using a vacuum-bleed tool for routine brake fluid flushing on ABS equipped bikes?

If so, how is it working out for you? Any suggestions or tips?

I use a standard automotive vacuum bleed tool I bought from Amazon. Did it twice so far without any problem, the only precaution I do is using help by some of the family to keep the reservoir at level all the time in order to avoid any air to get in.
I use the same tool to bleed the hyd clutch as well.
The vacuum tool does not bleed the ABS module, for that you need either the dealer’s DT or an equivalent after market one.

Considering this Snap-on unit for $108

Probably you could find something even cheaper at autoparts or similar store. Consider that a bike has shorter lines than a car so you do not need a big tool

you need a tool to pulse the abs module but it bleeds just fine. never seen on on a mc but older abs system had two brake fluid reservoir as it was a stand off system. the hd system is all about volume controlled by piston chambers in the module, the reason you have to hold constant pressure with the brake control, as the module pulses, it removes or adds space, aka, volume but in static form, the fluid just passes through.

I'm not overly concerned with activating the ABS module. Just looking to flush the majority of the fluid myself every couple of years as maintenance.

Search the forum for a recall that happened because of ABS unit failures in part I believe because the fluid was not being flushed fully.

i would worry about pulsing either, where trouble can happen is if air gets in, then it makes sense to pulse the module. need a scan tool??? naw other ways to pulse it without shop charge. but then again, not every one is up to it for various reasons.
