Default CABLE LUBE

GDAY,I WANT TO LUBE THE CABLES ON MY 2005 HERITAGE AS IM WELL AWARE OF THE IMPORTATANCE TO DO SO ,MY QUEERY IS FOR THE THROTTLE AND CLUTCH IS IT NECESSARY TO TO RELEASE BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM IE ON THE BAR END AND THE OTHER END TO LUBE?WHATS THE EASIEST PROCEDURE CLYMERS MANUAL DIRECTS YOU TO TAKE THE TANK OFF AIRFILTER SET UP OFF JUST TO LUBE THE THROTTLE CABLES THIS SEEMS A BIT OVER THE TOP BUT IM ASKING OTHER OPINIONS
THANX FOR THE ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!

I do not take the tank and air cleaner off to lube the throttle/idle cables!! I follow the HD service manual.

All i do is take the top half of the switch housin off and i bought a lube from my local Harly dealer called Dry Slide and i lube the cables and reinstalle
