Default Pro-Action Suspension does it Again!!!

Just wanted to give y’all a heads up on Pro-Action’s new performance shocks that they are came out with. I happened to run into Pro-Action a month or so ago in Johnstown @ Thunder in the Valley. The owner George told me he had something new to show me. He’s running remote reservoirs on his personal Roadglide

Don’t quote me on it but it looks like you can upgrade your standard P.A. shocks to the remote reservoir setup. I was right about to ask him when I could come in and get my RG fitted with them and until he shown me these!!!

They also make em with the Piggyback reservoirs! This setup works better for me cause when I’m touring I have a luggage rack attached on the back etc so I didn’t want to worry about relocating the remote reservoirs. He told me that they would put together a set for me and I could pick em up at Erie during Roar on the Shore. He knows how much I ride and that I was gonna put them through the paces and wanted my honest feedback.

So it was about a 2-1/2 hour trip up there but me and a buddy did it around 2 hauling @ss!!! Got up there to there tent and they started taking care of me.

They hooked me up and dialed me in!!! Quick test ride and some final tweaks I was on my way. Some of the roads up in and around Erie was tore up from construction. So I immediately started testing these bad boys out and seeing how they responded...... They didn’t disappoint!!! Actually exceeded my expectations. The standard P.A. shocks worked fine for me the last couple years no problems or complaints whatsoever. I definitely put them through the paces and thought I was satisfied. But these new shocks just upped the bar to a new level I didn’t think was possible. I rode the same roads back the same pace etc and I could definitely feel a difference between em. Idk how the best way to describe it??? Just the level of adjustability on the fly and the quality of ride is top notch. I guess you can say it’s just more refined now and really smoothed things out.

If your looking to upgrade your rear suspension to a more performance geared shock Pro-Action has what you need!!!

I bought the 11” Pro Action shocks in Erie PA at their booth. So much better than the hand adjustable Harley shocks. Now I can tell how bad the front is with the Progressive springs lowering kit. I’ll have fix that next.

They put a set of their standard non-reservoir shocks on my 1985 FXRS last March in Daytona. I talked to them for a while, got an education about shocks...then they said "roll your bike in, we'll put a set on and you can take'em for a ride. If you don't like'em..we'll just put your old ones back on". Pulled off a pair of less than 2 yr old Progressives to give PA a try. Ran about 50 miles..looking for rough spots on the road.
Night and Day pretty much describes it. Those guys are the best.

Yah it would be nice if you could do a conversion of current shocks to this system, especially since I just put new PA's on my scoot a couple weeks ago. It looks too like there's no need for any special mount, just invert the shocks.

So with the remote reservoir, is that another adjustment you can make in addition to pre-load and the bleeder valve?
