Default Cut your own brake line kit?

I have been looking at the Goodridge kit, and I see other kits that use a non ss braided plastic line.
any experience with them?

I've used ready-made Goodridge hoses in the past and HEL more recently. I wouldn't bother to make my own when ready-made ones are so readily available! They can even be bought as a complete kit for your model of bike, complete with banjo bolts, washers etc.

A buddy used that plastic cut to fit line and it's been holding up for quite a few years now. It's cheap, but i wouldn't care to use it.

i used russel products. i converted to jic fittings so all i need to do now is just buy hoses. the synflex tubing is a great product, used a bunch of it in the offshore environment. i do not the aesthetics of it but if hidden, i would have no issues with it, keep it from heat sources though.
