Default cornering stability problem

Wonder if anyone else has this problem, or can identify the cause. Have a Softtail Deuce, and when cornering hard (for example, entering a posted 45 mph curve at between 70 and 80), I get what I can only describe as a wobble. Feels like the bike wants to pull back up (I realize that's the nature, but this is extreme), then goes into an oscilation. Feels like I'm fighting the bike to stay down. I have Progressive up front, stock shocks in the rear, pumped up, and stock Dunlop tires. I can't narrow it down to tires, shocks or frame. Any thoughts? And NO, slowing down isn't an option

Thanks,
Frank

Default RE: cornering stability problem

better shocks in the rear will help - but I gotta tell ya, slowing down may be the only/best option. These bikes are not designed for high speed cornering.

checking your "fall away" and alignment are often referenced in threads of this nature. Also, a higher quality tire has been known to help as well.
