I did a search of this forum but could not find a specific answer So let me thank you in advance.
I have a 2013 street bob fxdb (103 six speed belt drive) the main frame has damage and i would like to get a new frame, the rest of the bike is in fairly good shape so naturally i would like to reuse as many of the original part as possible.
i have been searching and finding more questions than answers
what years would be interchangeable ? it looks like some older frames might work but have different rake "yes no?"
I have also seen some aftermarket softail frames but again would like to reuse as many of the original parts as possible.
Any thoughts?
I should probably ad that I am open to using other than street bob frame if its practical

 

Any Dyna frame from 2006-2017 will accept your drivetrain. The Street Bob and Super Glides will be identical. However, there are differences with front end geometry on the Wide Glides and Fat Bobs, as far as I remember. Don't know about the Lowriders, but there are people here with better specifics than me. You might try posting in the Dyna section.

Further to nevil's reply, you can identify your frame part # and check models and years it fits by using a parts website, Doing that will guarantee identifying suitable donor bikes. It won't identify other possible models that are very close, but have slight differences, as they will have a different part #. The Dyna section should have experts who can provide more details.
