Handlebar clamp bolt torque 12-16ft lb
Just in case anyone needs this, handlebar clamp bolt torquedoesn't come up in a search, just in case your tightening or replacing your bars.
it's 12-16 Ft-Lbs, hand tighten front bolts till front edge of clamp half touches bottom seat, then tighten rear bolts to torque, then front bolts to torque, got this from the HD sheet for installing a RKC bar.
In my manual from 2000, there is no critical fastenet list others have mentioned, just bolt size and torque values. This is a 5/16 inch allen head grade 8 cap screw, HD says 29 In-lbs, just to add to the confusion... Thats about 2.4 Ft-lbs, probaly not enough...
