Default Dunlop tire help

I have a GT 501 Dunlop Non radial tire 130/90V16 on the rear of my 1996 FLSTC and would like to know if I could use an Elite 3 Bias Touring tire on the front MT/90v16? Would this be a miss match? The GT 501 is not made in the size front tire I need.

Thanks , Bob

The tire manufacturers recommend to not mix different tires on your bike. Your question would probably be best answered by Dunlop on their web page "contact us" section.

I'm with TC on this. I certainly wouldn't mix tires. I think you will find that the MT/90 and the 130/90-16 tires are the same size but the construction could be a problem.

i'm concerned that the 501 is a replacement for the 591. the 591 is used on sportsters and dynaglides that are lighter than the FLST.
a 501 may not have the load bearing capacity you should have compared to a 402. ride safe
