..:: Progressive Fork Springs Installation Issue ::..
Hi Everyone! First of all I would like you to know that I'm not a mechanical expert.
Has anyone installed a progressive fork springs (sku 11-1577) in an iron 883 2016?
I've been struggling with the installation with 2 different shops without luck, so now I will do it myself.
I bought the springs on revzilla and I'm sure it's the correct SKU (I've been talking to progressive suspension support).
The kit doesn't include spacers just the springs and according to the user guide I need to use the OEM spacer, but I think I should use it because the progressive springs are smaller. (progressives are 18.8" and the OEM are 20.27")
The problem is when I hit the brake or face small bumps, it bottoms like an inch give or take and it hits "something" (I thinks it's the springs). That's why I think I need a spacer (to compensate the space left on the springs), but I'm not sure since I don't have experience on it I'm just using my imagination and common sense
Any ideas will be highly appreciated!!
Thanks!!!!

Looks like you have a Cartridge in the Left fork, so that could complicate things a bit while solving issues. That's an important bit of info you should've included.
Two Shops...no one knows anything?
Was there tension on the cartridge side spring when it was put together?
Have you physically seen the inside of your forks?
You may have to tear it down again
